Lewis, D. G. M., Al-Shawaf, L., Conroy-Beam, D., Asao, K., & Buss, D. M. (2017). Evolutionary psychology: A how-to guide. American Psychologist, 72 , 353–373. LINK

This is a more advanced but more detailed guide for how to actually do research within the subfield.
Explain why each source is useful for your research topic and how it relates to your topic.
This article will be great for a capstone topic at the beginning of the process but may be too involved and technical for students in a course who may or may not do research in the foreseeable future in psychology.
