Geoff Westropp was named Manager of Information Systems for Soka University of America, Aliso Viejo in November 1999. He is responsible for managing the Information Technology Services at SUA’s four-year non-profit liberal arts college in Aliso Viejo, California.

Geoff came to SUA from Compaq Corporation in Littleton, MA, where he was an Information Systems Consultant for 12 years. Prior to that he was a Systems Analyst and Design Specialist with Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard, MA and with IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Geoff received his MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, MA and holds a BA in Business Administration from Bryant College in Smithfield, RI.

Geoff is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Chapman University in Orange California. His PhD studies are in Education Leadership.

He has served as a volunteer for Big Brothers of America and Soka Gakkai International and has received the Liberty and Hong Kong humanitarian awards.

Westropp and his wife, Marsha, reside in Laguna Hills with their sons, Cory and Lee.
