Soka University of America is a top-ranked liberal arts university (currently ranked #29 in US News rankings for National Liberal Arts Colleges). At Soka University of America, faculty are active scholars and researchers in their fields, and are advancing the frontiers of knowledge in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and also the creative arts.
As a university that values undergraduate education, faculty often collaborate closely with our undergraduate students, who also complete capstone projects of original research in their senior year. Our Graduate School awards a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Societal Change, and both the graduate faculty and graduate students are actively conducting research around the world.
Soka University of America’s undergraduate faculty are organized into Concentrations that include Life Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Environmental Studies, International Studies and Humanities, and Programs that include the Writing Program, Creative Arts Program, and the Language Culture Program.
